I'm wondering if the Leading Edge Performance Maggie cam would work well with your setup.

Yeah it might have been , I know he has had some radixed trucks in the 11s, heck back in 04-05 Chevy high perf mag had TJ and Zippy do a radix SSS for them , they know how to make em run that's for sure .

Good luck on your quest for 10s bud !

I tend to agree that its not the cam. I also think there is more to be had from a pulley swap. You will lose boost going to a more aggressive cam and have to pulley down anyway... why not just skip right to the good part.

There are people on here who run a 2.7 on their radix with a OD balancer. have you done the 90mm j tube upgrade? That will help the blower move more air for sure. Also, a larger diameter exhaust wouldnt be a bad thing.

I'd consider those mods along with larger injectors, and I have a hard time believing you wouldn't get there.

Talked to TJ and if my GT2/3 is damaged he will be specing a custom cam for me. Said I should be able to pick up a couple of tenths. Said I could probably gain another tenth or two by porting the heads. Just don't hog them out he said. Cool guy!!!

Some will disagree but I have not been impressed with the results I have seen from this cam in trucks.

I don't look at the specs and fall in love with it, but I have seen some impressive numbers out of it.

Leading Edge Blower camshaft! Wheatley Performance camshaft results!!!! - YouTube

**** if I could make those numbers on 10# I'd be psyched. Granted he isn't on a bone stock bottom end, but its damn close.

I would think its slightly too big for a radix though.

I am talking about track times.

Oh ok. Yea its harder to find track times for this cam... apparently its taken a TBSS into the 10's, but I don't know what else went into the build and that's obviously a huge variable. Haven't seen enough of it to know one way or the other.
I know if I was doing another cam I would go the custom route with all other parts of my build completely in place already. Truly custom to your exact set up. Find someone who you are comfortable with, and let them go to work. Ed Curtis from Flowtech is right in my backyard... I'd call him up.
