Radix camshaft choice for 11 second Silverado SS?
I've been very happy with my GT2/3 cam, but do feel it is limiting me a little. Krambo had posted up in another thread where he had tuned and helped build a friends truck and the best they could run with it was a 12.0x vs his high 11's.
Only difference being that truck had a GT2/3 cam vs his SLP cam (.559/.566 --- 216/222 --- 115). He said the 1/8 mile increments were consistently better on his truck.
I've been looking at these cams below----Comp recommended the 2nd one. Thoughts?
54-455-11 - LSR
146-456-11 - LSR
These cams are part of the LSR line and require dual springs and they aren't cheap....
Also, considered something a little more mild like:
54-412-11 - XFI RPM Hydraulic Roller Camshafts
54-414-11 - XFI RPM Hydraulic Roller Camshafts
Thoughts?

Have you thought about running an OD balancer and/or going 8rib with smaller pulley for more boost ?
From your sig your def gonna want larger injectors also .
As for cam , I run a 219-231 113.5 LSA .611 lift , I feel a similar profile would work great in your setup .
If your also just going for quicker ETs don't forget to try and eliminate any extra weight you can

I'm not sure I could see any gains doing this as I'm already out of the efficiency range of the blower and am battling high IAT as a result. I know the TVS blowers respond to this awesome, but they of course are more efficient.
That sounds a lot like the LS9 cam (which I had considered). It's cheap works very well, etc but it requires some changes since it's from a gen 4 motor. I'm also concerned it's a little too big (duration wise) and may affect getting this barge moving....?
Definitely, could improve my times into the 11's I believe by removing my box/amps/tailgate/seats, etc plus smaller lighter wheels, but I run it the way I drive it. Pretty pleased with what I've done with to date, but think it could can do better with some mods (better cam, maybe some ported heads, etc).
I'm doing the work only because my stock engine has 190,000 miles and I'm putting in a 38,000 mile replacement. I'm pretty sure my stock block has a spun cam bearing so I expect the cam will be junk. If not, I'll probably reuse it.
I know your truck is lighter, but 118 mph!!!! Was that on spray? If so, what did it mph without?

Tj does good work he tunes my turbo sss, he would be a great person to talk to on maximizing your set up. I believe Chris's truck was turboed. I will be trying to go 10s with my stock lq9 this weekend.
