With my set up, there's no need for a looser than stock converter. Even with a bigger cam, lt's, ory, and freeflowing exhaust, you have more bottom end power than you can hook to the pavement. I have 3.73's in my truck. I can roast the tires (285 50/17) at any speed under about 30 mph. If your truck is real heavy and you run around with slicks on the back, you might have need for a looser converter and higher ratio rear gears. Otherwise, spend the money on the motor. The usual mods that help an NA motor will help a supercharged one. My motor dynoed at 415 rwhp. Plenty of power for me ......for now.
