Default RaceMMI turbo kit help

I bought a 2000 Chevy 1500 with a 4.8l in it and decided to turbo it. I ordered the race mmi twin turbo kit and it's been hell every since trying to get everything to fit and to work properly. I finally got it running and was only pushing 4lbs of boost so I unhooked the waste gates and started to make around 10lbs. Before I got the truck tuned I was having oil pressure issues, since my motor had 200k miles on it I just bought a 5.3 to put in it. So both motors and the turbo kit are sitting out of my truck right now. Has anyone ever had the race mmi twin turbo kit that has actually got it hooked up and working right? Or am I just waisting my time and should I just go a different route. I would really like to figure this one out so I'm not out $2000 but I don't want to waste anymore of my time cause it's been long enough already. Any help is appreciated

Your wasting your time. The reviews on those kits are horrible. and its a cheap ebay kit, no offense. Nothing from that kit will give you an easy time. Was reading a thread where the guy got so fed up with it he just abandon the kit all together. Take it with a grain a salt, but you know what they say "get what you pay for"
Good luck man hope you figure out.

I think you are wasting your time, sorry to bring the bad news. The intercooler is tiny, the pipes are tiny it's just not well setup. You are better off picking up a trick single kit.

Damn. I should've looked more into it before I through money at it on something that wasn't tested. What route should I go then too keep my price not too terrible high and be able to hopefully get around 600 hp out of it.
Deka 80lb 830cc fuel injectors
Bosch 044 inline external fuel pump
224-230 114lsa cam
.660 springs
7.40 pushrods
ngk t6 boost spark plugs
New LS2 fuel pump
New LS2 timing chain
On 3 blowoff valve
High pressure high volume oil pump
That's what I have in it now. Looking at buying a 3400 stall and possibly porting my heads depending on how much help it would make.
Thanks for the help

that is the link to the people who make it. I haven't seen one good review about them and it's been about a year and a half wasting my *** on this.

Depends on your budget man. Trick, KB are real good. I love my trick set up. If you are looking for cheap, you do have on3 performance... but again get what you pay for. There reviews are 50/50 tho. good/shitty lol
