Default quieter without loss of power

i need to quiet this thing down. i have a 4" exhaust that exits in front of right rear tire. this is on a truck. this thing is louder then my big compression stroker with true duals. i thought this thing would be much quieter and im proven wrong. what would be a mild sounding muffler/resonator that wouldnt lose power?

Myself as well as 4-5 other guys are running this muffler. I like it, mellow tone but still pretty loud when you stand on it. Its 4" in/out strait though but does neck down internally to 3 1/2. I'd recommend it. I get complemented on how my truck sounds all the time.

Default muffler

I run a dyno max bullit race muffler its a 3 in piece and i have no cats. Its quiet and when you stomp the throttle its loud. And it dosent sound like every thing else with flow junks. plus there is nothing to blow out in the muffler. I love them.

While we are on this subject... I want a muff that'll quiet the exhaust but maintain that turbo whistle on my 5" system. I know the maxflow will do what im looking for, but they don't make 5" mufflers. I'm thinking maybe hushpower but there isnt much info on them.

I just replaced my 4" Magnaflow equipped single system with a 5" system that includes an Aeroturbine 5" straight through muffler. It is about 50% quieter than before with a much deeper tone. Of course I also changed from a twinscrew supercharger to twin turbos at the same time, but the 5" system is really quite mellow until you put the hammer down, then it is about 50% louder than before.

i know ppl dont prefer flowmaster but i can get a hold of one for reasonable fee. what ar the thoughts of using this? i know a flow sound its not to bad but still littler quieter then how truck is now. i dont want to lose any performance......just thoughts

Try it I put a 3" flowmaster 40 or what ever they are on my dads turbo 5.3 in his 72 and it's really quite, but only running 5 psi on it right now.
