TR6's are a step colder then stock and they help keep detonation down. Seem to be the plug of chose for boosted LSx motors.

I see alot of STS kits and alot of happy trucks . Is thier a company that sells just turbo manifold? That would really cut down on alll the welding time Im going to have put in. I think Im just going to run a stock trans but will see what happens.... Anybody got any good suggestions for Computer?

Thanks for all helpful info.......

give nelson performance a ring and tell him what your doing, are there any dyno tuners in your area? im in the canton area north of you and there arent any here ive found.you might just have to get a mail order tune and if need be work with it till its perfect, get a scan tool or gauge( ive got an interceptor scan gauges that mounts on the a pillar) to get a reading of your values that will help the tuner zero your engine out.

Try the place Parish uses for a manifold, I can' remember offhand. It should be in his signature.
Neslon has done some turbo programs, he even has a specific STS one. Best bet IMHO.
Using a turbo is easier on the tranny than a SC. Since the power/torque comes on later the tranny is spared the initial jolt from a dead stop. Not to say the 60E is a strong unit, definitely do the Vette servo and shift kit else start looking for a 65E or 80E.

The STS is a great kit. But I would recommend a intercooler. My intake temps are ice cold. I made 530/550+ with my 4.8/STS combo. And that is with the 43# injectors maxed at 5000rpms

Just budget for the tranny build up (at least a kit a servos if you're staying relatively modest on power) and a PI "turbo" TCC... In fact, do both of those first, IMO.
