as long as the engine is in vacuum you will not be in boost. If you are going 100MPH up hill you might have a problem.

Either you live in Montana or on a race track!! 100mph all day? LOL
Too funny. If that's possible more power to ya!!

I wouldn't think that would be too good for your vehicle in general but with boost you could have issues like BC said up hills or under load.
Be carefull.

what do you mean when you say it's not safe to drive 100mph with a SC?!!! this is my average speed
even on say slight uphill/load.. what kind of problems should I expect?

I am not saying it is not safe...and I am not saying you will have issues. I am saying if you are going 100MPH and getting under enough load to drop below 8 inches of vacuum you will be in boost.

IAT will NOT be an issue.

With my TVS1900 kit my IATs actually drop when going into boost from cruising.

If my cruising IATs are 50 C they go down to around 43 C under boost. Put it in C since more than likely that is the temp scale he uses.

The only way I can explain this is that when the bypass closes under boost you are no longer circulating air through the compressor. If I stay in it a LONG time I have seen the temp rise like 2 degrees C. That was on a run to 120mph which takes me a little bit to get too.

I'll try to get a screen capture of one of my logs to post up.
