Default Question for people 03-07 Huron turbo kit owners?

Where did you mount your trans cooler? I'm looking at the tru-cool and it seems a lot of the people who mounted them under the bed have had problems.... I didn't know if I could build a small scoop for it as well as fans on the backside to help or if there was a convenient place up front with a 4" core intercooler? Huron doesn't have an install write up for their trucks on the website.

I haven’t been happy with my trucool under the bed, I even have fans on it. I am switching to a Setrab cooler that I can fit in the front with my 4” intercooler and we shall see how that does.

How much less efficient is that setrab? It still looks pretty decent size. Maybe have a part number?

dont have any pictures but my 2000 has a 40k mounted between my radiator and A/C condenser. i also has a smaller cooler mounted horizonatally with a scoop that feeds from the bumper and fan. all this is with a 4'' core cooler.

The construction of the setrab appears to be way more efficient, it has way more rows and internally looks to flow a lot more

Threw the IC mounting bracket that came with the kit away and made my own. Flipped the intercooler over and mounted it more forward, right up next to the back side of the grill. 40k now fits in between the condenser and intercoole with again 3/4” in between each other.

ill try to get pics this weekend if I remember
