Default Question about Radix intake gaskets

This is directed towards BlownChevy, but anyone else who knows the answer please chime in. I had to replace a knock sensor, so I bought a new set of intake gaskets from the local Chevy dealer. Well, the gaskets on the Radix are 8 individual rectangle-shaped strips, rather than the green or orange cathedral-shaped ones that came from the dealer. I thought the Radix used factory gaskets? That's what the installation instructions showed, but mine was different. Why?

Did they make a change on the stock manifolds too? I asked for a 2001 Silverado 5.3 and that's what they gave me.

Nah that's ok, I already put the charger back on and the old gaskets are fine. I'll replace them when I do the motor swap, I was just curious.
