Default pulled radix ---dirty---

So I'm swaping radix onto 6.0l pulled it off the 5.3l and wow looking up the ports it just looks nasty in there. Have about 25k on it. Why so dirty? EGR? Oil from PCV? I'm sure its a normal thing just kinda dishearting after paying so much money kinda makes me sad. O-well f!#k it! This regcab is going to scream with the 6.0 and the magnacharger.

Is this a stock 6.0 or have you done some work on it? Does the harness bolt right up? No new wiring to do? Does the 80 trans bolt right up or are there mods to do here?

Thinking of the same changes this winter and am somewhat stopped by these sorts of questions.

I wouldn't let it bother you to much. When we pulled NakedAV's charger it look the same way from the sound of it, sent it in for them to inspect(non related issue), everything was fine, it was producing the correct power. However, if it bothers you that much, you can send it in and they can clean it for you for a small fee

Ya ya I know..... Its just that it was a perfect thing of beauty and now it kind of ugly. Nothing I can't fix though.

Yes its all a direct bolt up. Stock lq4 There are a few things for the 80e that you going to have to figure out. But just do a search here of 4l80e swap and you'll find threads that expane it all alot better then I could.

No Explain please.... Were would you put it. I'm pretty sure I going to take the time to clean it all up and would like to do something to keep it cleaner. Thinking about losing the EGR too.

I was asking if you had catch can like the AMW unit. They are availalbe over in LS1Tech. Lot of info there too on the AMW and cheaper homemade alternatives.

The idea is that the catch can keeps most if not all of the oil out of the intake.

Got the swap done and have been looking into the catch a little more. Question.. Thought red a thread around here that said the radix needs the oil to run through it to lubracate the rotors. Is this true? Blown..Moregrip?????
