Its still held onto the frame just like the rest of the GMT800 platform trucks. Not saying its going to be easy but if its that close you may have to install the blower that way. Dont forget to disconnect the steering shaft, everything else has enough slack in it to allow 2" of lift.

How the hell do you even lift that monstrosity you call an intake manifold?

What?..... it's only 150 lbs.

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but pleas tell me that’s not a crack in the cylinder towards the right side of the picture. Maybe just a piece of string or something lying in there.

Just lint from wiping the oil off the cylinder wall.

might have to move mine there as well.

do the ls2 style knock sensors use the same wiring ? could we just splice them into the gen3 to 4 conversion harness? or do the electronics work differenty? seems like it might be better to try a knock sensor that was designed to work in that spot vs the ls1 style .
