It might be lean if both the #1 and #2 injectors are dumping a lot of extra fuel. Are those miniscule spots of aluminum I see on the piston? Do any other pistons have them?

To the valley cover. Put a second catch can on the fresh air side because there was a little oil blowing out the non-baffled valve cover. Checked it before the race for the 1st time and there was only a little oil in it. After it broke/racing the can was half full.

That's how the plugs look, but how would that happen. I have a spare set of injectors and swapped them at one point- didn't seem to make any difference in the way the engine ran. Same goes for injector driver boxes.

Looks more like pitting on the #8. Can't see much on the others that are gunked up. Guess number #8 got washed down running without spark. Something on the #2 plug.
