Thanks guys, it's been a fun build and a great daily driver. Those two runs were the 13th and 14th time I've ever been down a track, first time ever on slicks so needless to say there plenty of things I can do to make my goal of 11.5 second propane daily pickup. I need to start a build thread soon with all the details but for now here's some more photos and video. I'll update my sig soon too.

I don't think they'll let me grill up some brats in the pits or I would have been on that already...leave it to a cheesehead to use BBQ fuel on a hot rod!TG, that bumper cam was 18" from the tailpipe if you want an idea of the sound level on that exhaust, it's louder in real life but you get the idea.
The MPG is one of the questions I get the most and I don't have a 100% accurate answer for this vehicle because I rarely drive without at least a couple wot blasts (which tends to bring the economy down a touch...) but here is the basic math:
My understanding is that you can either make the same power as gasoline and burn 10% more or burn the same volume and make 10% less power by the gallon. If they sold all fuels by the pound it would be a lot easier to understand.
10 Gallons propane $24 (various sources say between 103 and 110 octane pump)
10 Gallons gas 87 octane ~$40
10 gallons gas 89 octane ~$41
10 gallons gas 91 octane ~$44
10 Gallons 110 octane race fuel ~$80
Adjust the prices for your local retailer but you can still see what I see. Propane loves boost and compression, burns clean, extends oil change intervals, mixes readily with air, requires no extra enrichment in cold temps, has an extremely long shelf life, has a higher energy density than gasoline or diesel (by weight), weighs a third less per gallon than gas, can cruise at leaner mixtures, I could go on for days...

That looks like a standard LP Regulator, who makes it? I used to work on LP systems on industrial equipment. If it is a standard regulator, I would have never guessed it would fuel that setup. Pretty Cool.

Congrats on the #'s. I agree its a great $ savings but I hope that tank never lets go. Cause that big tank will make a nice mushroom cloud. Just not worth the added risk of possible death with propane in my eyes. Good Luck with it.

Further south to Waterford is where getting LPG for $2.40 a gallon is possible, looks like it is $.50-.55 more per gallon closer to you.
