i have an 08 NNBS RCSB and i decided its time for a stall converter...i have a D1SC with about 13lbs of boost on a stock 5.3..my tranny is a 4L60E stock besides a vette servo and a 40K tru-cool.

my truck feels real sluggish on low RPMs so i decided to get rid of that stock verter..i found a YANK SS3600 "Nitrous" Converter..will this work for my setup???

Iam new to Stall Converters so please help me out...

 

Is the Yank SS3600 new or used? A lot of guys use the SS3600 or similar 3600 converters with their procharger setups in these trucks. You might want to start saving up for a built Trans or keep some money saved up for when the stock trans goes out.

 

Why not the SC3000? And Dave can make it a 3600. Either way,you're going to wish you had done it before,prochargers love stalls.

 

Sell the 60E while it's still in one piece and use that cash to pay for an 80E and 3600 or higher stall. The 60E won't last and a stall is stupid essential for that D1.

 

Its a used stall..guy say it only has 1000 miles. It came out of a 99 trans am..
