Default ProCharger Race Valve...BOV

ProCharger Race Valve

The Universal STS kit I got came with one of these. Is this not a HI-Boost, HI-Performance replacement for a BOV. I'm only wanting to run a maximum of 8-9lbs of boost and a normal of 4-5. Is this going to render my boosting or not work at all?

Is this a bypass valve or BOV? I'm not familiar w/ most of the supercharger side of things, but I'm pretty sure a big BOV can't be anything but good for helping compressor surge.

That isn't a blow of valve, it is a bypass valve, made for a centri blower kit.. I am not sure how that would work on a turbo, since it doesn't close under reg driving, only under full boost.... But it could Wana sell it??

That is a little over kill for what you are going to use it for. It will work just fine for you but its ment for higher boost like 15+ pounds. I run it on mine right now. I am currently running 8 to 10 pounds and it works fine. The BIG turbo guys use them as well so it should work for you.

By the way that is a very nice bypass valve to get with your kit, I am surprised thats what they sent you. Good deal.

Yes, I would be willing to sell it. I don't think it is exactly what I need.
