Your stock maf will be fine. Your stock fuel pump wont be... you will most likely need an inline booster pump or an intank walbro. You may also need injectors

Gonna need a GM 2bar map and I would look into the Racetronix fuel pump modules. I just ordered one and they are a complete drop in with all new sensors and everything.

I also got a 08 with a 5.3 and a P1SC1 @ 10# and and is running fine with the stock pump. Also didn't change the map sensor. What size are the pulleys that you have? You can't tell the boost you will make by the size of the pulley unless you install it. I got a reichard racing 3.6" that makes 10-11# at 5800+ rpm.

If it is a flex fuel, you might get way with the stock injectors on 8psi.. You should get a inline pump for safety.. The TB, MAP will be fine.. best bet is to put a FP gauge, AFR gauge in there to keep a eye on things..
