I am interested also. I think stock verter and all you will like the tvs alot better. And I am a PC guy. Stall it and gear it, completely diff ball game even if it was the tvs geared and stalled.

The truck currently has 3:73 gears, I dont think it will need to be steeper than that. I am SURE the powerband will be different, I expected that. To be honest that is what I am looking for now, just something different.

The best way to understand it is to do it right? I spent 12 years as the Head Cheerleader for Magnuson, now that I am on my own I can try new things and learn about other product. All this will do is bring another opinion to the site that is speaking from the experience.

I think you will like it since you will be gaining more usable horse power and not just making a burn out machine. Either way it will be interesting to hear your opinion on it.

I think you'll miss the power under the curve with the blower on the 4.8, especially with a stock converter. Regardless, interested in how it turns out. When will this swap be happening?

I am interested in the outcome as well, looking forward to hearing your unbiased opinions. Will you have dyno charts to compare the two?

I am planning before the end of the month, I have a few projects here in the shop to move out before I can work on my own. One of them is a LPE 710 package on a ZR1 and the other is an LPE 750 package on a ZR1

yes, I will get a nice side by side comparison with the dyno.

What are your expectations? I wouldn't expect higher peak numbers from the dyno, however your ET might be better with manageable low end power to get you going. Ever been to the track with your current setup?
