Default procharger 3.85 pulley

i have a 3.85 pulley on my D1SC i put a 114 length belt on it and tossed it off today totally melted it what length should be on it I'm thinking 112 to 113

and just for clarification the belt fell off the water pump pulley the rest were fine

I don't remember but that belt does sound a little long. However, from your description it sounds like you might have some alignment issues. Even at 114", I don't think you should be having that type of problem.

Get it fixed the right way. It'll work. This is what separates the bad *** procharger guys from the "screw it I"m going turbo guys".

It's really aggravating when you blow a 60 Doller belt tbe day after you put in on but I'll get it fixed not gonna bail on the D1 that quickly

It'll be worth it kurt... I think we should buy an alignment tool. We're both gonna need it soon anyway.

If you need to borrow an alignment tool, I'll rent mine out and guide you through what needs to be done.

I'm down to help the procharger guys out any way I can.

i called procharger and they said a 114 is the right length but I'm gonna try a 113 or a 112 just for ***** and giggles
