It's a hallman that I've had lying around. I can't remember what ports they're on but I'm Teed into boost reference to the input on the boost controller and I believe then to the bottom port on the gate. Output on the controller to the top port on the gate. I know if I reverse the hoses on the gate it works backwards. Meaning..tightening the **** makes less boost. Does hose length make a difference? Trying to figure out if I have these issues cause of too much hose?

So no controller just the gate connected to boost port.

Ok.
So bottom port needs to stay open.

The controller needs to apply psi to the top port.
The manual controller input boost psi.
Out put to the top port.
Controller should be close.
The boost psi should be the same or close to the same.

Then slowly open the controller ( 1/2 - 1 full turn)
Does boost goes up?

So I was looking at the eboost 2 gauge instructions and apparently there are a couple of different ways of hooking the silinoid up to the waste gate depending on how much boost your running and if you have a hi back presure or what not. They also mention in the set up instructions it can only control as much boost as the waste gate can get rid of via spring or flow for that diameter gate. So it seems like it could be a number of things and might not just be the controller . Have you tried all 3 options on how they recommend setting it up? Just wanted to ask you since i'm preparing to set mine up here in the next couple days and started the reading on the manual to prepare as much as possible.

What MM gate are you running? Could be over flowing it and it cant keep up, or has it been working fine and this just started happening?
