Yeah that pump you have is not a 450 walbro

Here is what one looks like , bottom one , from when I swapped out from a 340 ( top)

What's the dimensions on that Walbro? Will two of them fit?
I was also considering an AEM that does something like 320lph. Scoggin Dickey has them. They are also an E85 pump.
Is there a check valve in there too?

I use that 340 pump in my nitrous fuel tank because it overheats in a constant duty application. I think its more race-only... I got it from a friend who had it as his primary fuel pump and kept stranding him all over town because it wouldn't stop overheating.

The one I have? I did drive it about 50 miles yesterday and it was 95 degrees out.

So the dual 340's supported 1000whp? Sucks to see you having issues. Are you going to lower boost to 15 psi or so?

Pulled the pump apart and found one of the brushes completely worn out and pulled from the terminal. Other brush still there but commutator is worn heavily.

Well I replace those pumps and went out and drove it today. Did the same thing where it overboosted. I'm pretty sure my boost controller isn't working or something is wrong with the gate. It jumps right to 28psi. Got a log of it and the MAP sensor is pegged at 255kpa and it's pulling loads of timing away.

I'm going to pull the plugs out after it cools off some. What's the chances of the plugs being ok? The motor? What's the problem?
