please help with radix blower pulley bolt keeps ........

Default please help with radix blower pulley bolt keeps ........

coming out and the pulley becomes loose and make noise then i have to remove belt push pulley back on then tight the bolt again take it for drive its nice a quiet then 5 minuts later it starts again to make chattering noise again. i tighten the bolt again put therd locker test it and its the same quiet for 5 minutes then the bolt back out loose...and makes the noise again i dont know what to do

dose anyone have trick to make the bolt not back out or is the pulley needs changing????

wierd maybe i need to go check ours to see if its backed off... this should be interesting to hear the solution on...

What brand pulley are you using, and how (what method) are you torquing it on?

i got the pulley from linginfelter performance two years ago its 2.75" 2 years no problem then few weeks ago it started making noise i ignored the noise and was driving the truck normal then it got worse and noise increace alot, i removed the belt to check, it was the bolt back out very slightly and the pulley play up down now the bolt keeps backing out everytime i torque it.. i did it 3 times now and it wont hold

i torque it by keeping the belt on it with engine hot the hot belt holds the pulley much better than cold belt

Sounds as if you've boogered up the shaft that the pulley bolts to. Unless the pulley is crap, no amount of lock tite and extra torque will fix it now. Time to send it back to the Magnuson folks for repair.

yes it is the shaft i remove the pulley today there is small oil leak i will remove the nose try to fix it or will order new one
