And I wouldn't waste any money on billet wheel or anything. A cast 475 should be more than a stock 4.8 can handle at full tilt.
You don't think a race cover would be a good purchase?

Not exactly. That's the general idea, but once you dig in a bit it gets more complex. With a smaller cam like the triple 12, going to a larger AR ratio housing doesn't have as much of an effect. The larger housing in this case will just contribute to lag more. With your simple setup idea I don't think you'll need to dive into the complexities though.

I'd recommend the S472 with the 83mm turbine wheel in a .90 AR T4 exhaust housing. That'll make quite a monster.

Thanks Jake! Why the 72mm over the 75? This truck will be driven on the street 85% and track 15%. So smaller will probably be better suited

Because a smaller cam won't need as much compressor to make power. Plus it'll spool faster. I believe the cast 72mm still does around 85lb/min, so its plenty for your goals.

Those are for T6 housings and without the race covers. I'm thinking a race cover will be beneficial for my goals. What are your thoughts?

649.00 plus 199.00 for the t4 housing. I cant answer the question on the race cover... I just wish I had known about these turbos before I gave 400 bucks for a used mp70. I'm happy with my setup for now but when I upgrade it will be the s475 cast wheel.
