ive been looking at various setups but none are consistant IMHO on where the 02s are placed. ive seen some tht are right after the manifold/log which is before the turbo/turbos. then i seen other setups where the 02s are after the turbos in the downpipes......
ok which is the proper location?
and for another question where should the wideband be placed

On my setup, the driver side it in the cross over about in the stock location, the passenger side is in the log right before the turbo and the WB is in the down pipe 8" from the turbo. Seems to be working great.

WB put in the downpipe. A good wideband can be installed into any part of the exhaust. But you must stay 24" from the tail pipes end. We put ours in the DP anywhere easy to get too.
The other O2s just depends. One single turbo applications before or after the turbo will have little effect. We put the drivers side in the stock location, and let the customer deside where he wants his passenger side one.

I've been told by people I trust that you do not want the O2's before the turbo, as the exhaust pressure skews the a/f readings. Even the good widebands are not calibrated with exhaust pressure. Do so at your own risk.

exhaust pressure. You will have several pounds of it in front of a turbo, you have virtually none in a normal naturally aspirated engine, unless the converter or muffler is plugged. The O2's readings change as pressure is introduced, so they will not be accurate. There have been several threads about this on LS1Tech.

Mine narrow bands are both before the turbo, basically in the stock location still. My WB is after the turbo, like 12" or so. Most run a SD OL tune and tune off the WB only, so who gives a crap what the narrow bands read.
FWIW, Innovate's instructions specifically say NOT to but the wideband before the turbo.

I don't think it would make a diff in which side you put the WB, maybe in the drivers, just you you would base your tune off of the #7, but you can't control fueling from side to side anyway. One side gona be the same as the other unless for some reason you have a fueling problem, like a bad injector or something.

Yep, stock O2's can remain where they are, as they don't affect your wot tuning. You should be using a wideband for WOT tuning (as you plan to) and it should be after the turbo(s).
