Pin crank pulley ?
#1
I have been searching and reading about pining the crank pulley... My question now is should I do this? I have a stock 5.3L with a Magnuson with the stock pulley on it. I have not had any problems but when I'm towing my enclosed trailer w/car it does work the supercharger on long hills...
Thoughts? Looks like it isn't a hard job to do I'm thinking it might be cheap insurance...
Thanks...

I think its kind of like buying insurance. Problably don't need it, but it certainly won't hurt.
The trucks are pretty easy to do, if I decide to put a radix on my truck I'll pin it just because.
my .02$

um......my buddy had a LS1 5.7 and a procharger in his avalanche.......it spun the crank pulley. the 346 vette is pinned, the 427 one is keyed the suburban is pinned. Its a lil bit of a hassle but do it anyway.
