I circled the part I am talking about in red. It looks to me like the bracket was welded onto the elbow I dont see where you bolted it onto the inlet hat? Thanks for the help. Looks like this swap is going to be a little more involved than I thought but the gains should be worth it

You won't see the bolts unless you look under the bracket. The bracket has a 90.The bolt's are actually tapped into the hat from the inside so you just use nut's to attach the bracket. This intake took me about 8hr's to do with the fuel lines and rewiring the injectors.

Yeah its nothing hard just a little more involved than I originally thought but like I said before should be well worth the gains. I may make me a custom bracket also for the throttle cable. Thanks for the help

******UPDATE********

Got the truck back on Saturday. Damb it looks even better in person. The thing drives extreamly nice. There is no loss of throttle response at all. It is only at 14# right now, due to the fact that it still has the 4L60e in it. I put acout 130 miles on it this past weekend and it didnt stall out once at a stop. One surge, but that is it. I can not wait to get the new trans in there and I can turn that boost up.

On another note, after c-notchin the frame, there is so much travel that the fender actually hits the right rear tire I need to roll the fenders and make sure I can fit the 28x11.5 ET Streets for the track.

Should have some new dyno numbers in the 1st weeks in May.
