That sounds like it would work.

What about using a breather on the passenger side valve cover and not using the green line? Out of boost, the vacuum will vent the block by drawing air from the passenger side valve cover. In boost the breather will vent any blowby. And no oil in your turbo, intercooler, or cold pipes.

And one question, isn't the PCV valve already a check valve? Or is another one needed?

I've been running a filter on my oil cap, both manifold ports capped, and both valve covers connected. I had no problems execpt for that oily smell in the cab when I run my AC.

The pcv valve isnt a one way vavle

keep it much simpler unless you are pushing 20psi, i have 8 psi on my yukon, i put a one way valve on the pvc to intake hose. this closes when boost is in the intake manifold, then i put a line from the pass valve cover to the intake of the turbo, final item is a oil cap breather, i have negative pressuer when idling and 0 psi during boost.

Do we have to be concerned about unmetered air coming in through the valve cover breather and out through the PCV line into the intake manifold?

That's the way GM designed it. The stock setup lets air enter the engine through the valve cover, fed by the fitting on the throttle body. The fitting is there to pull in air that is filtered (and also so excessive blow by is breathed into the engine by going backwards through this fitting). There is no difference in the amount of air entering the manifold anyway, because the PCV valve throttles it.

ON the 2010 we just did.
Stock PCV with a one way check valve.
then pass valve cover is connected to a small filter tucked behind the water pump.

The small amount of un-metered air coming through the engine, would be compensated by your o2's while cruising. AT WOT or boosting PCV is not working so there is no un metered air.
think I typed that right. LOL

Could you put a check valve on the line going to the breather filter, so it will let out crankcase pressure in boost, and be closed out of boost. This would prevent unmetered air from entering through the breather out of boost.
