Ordered Turbo, now i need help
#1
I have a KB racing turbo kit on the way turbo is a Masterpower T76 Q-trim turbo, 27 inch FMIC, and 3 inch down pipe. This is eventually going on a forged 6.0 but for now its going on my 5.3. I have talked to many companies already about what cam I should get but I wanted to see what you guys thought also.
It will be a stock 5.3 that will be almost daily driven. It will be going in a 2001 Tahoe that is 4wd, so it weighs 5600lb. I know alot use the ls6 cam, but i want to try to make a little more power than it does. ( if possible) So what cam, or cam specs should i look for?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

the duration isnt necessarily the issue... overlap is... and even thats not a big problem unless youre trying to squeeze every single hp out of a setup.
I was recommended a 218/224 .588/.595 113 for my 5.3/70mm setup. I'm sure it would also work very well for a 6L setup too. Cam choice isnt AS critical as a n/a setup.
