Ordered the Intercooler!

I will tell you now because there is not much that can be done at this point anyway, and i doubt that anyone from whipple will be reading this. Its not really a secret, but i thought it should be general knowledge about the crazy *** mark-up that whipple is charging on some stuff. The intercooler setup that i ordered apparently retails for $2399.00, thats right, almost $2.5k!! Thank God i saved an old Email that Chris (who is not there any longer) and I were sharing about info on the intercooler. He gave me a deal by telling me if I ordered the blower, he would sell me the I/C for $1650 if i got it within the first year of buying the blower. I couldnt afford the whole kit at the time so i thought that was a cool deal and nice of him, but still thought that was pricey for an I/C setup. Well a half a year later, huge IAT temps, and a Dmax I/C install fall out......i decided to give them a call and just buy the damn thing. When i contacted them about the purchase, i was politely quoted $2399.00 for the black kit... 
. I was like WTF? He said he could not do any better than that, and to let him know if i wanted to make the purchase, just Email him to let him know. I asked what improvements there were in the kit in the past 6 months and he said nothing has changed. I told him i was quoted $1649.00, and he said no way he could do that. Well, i dug through my hotmail "saved mail" folder and found the conversation that Chris and I had about the deal he made me back in February. I sent him a copy of the Email and he replied back 15 minutes later with, "Well since you have a copy of the conversation, i will honer the deal". I was like F'in right you will... 
. I was sort of just messin about it being a secret, but i wanted to get it out there that its damn cool they honored that deal, but effin sick that they can mark up that **** almost $1000 to sell to the public. I mean you know at $1649.00 they are still making a profit, but at $2399.00 they are going to Maui for lunch every day this week!
Can someone change my Avatar title to "Whipple Whipping Boy"?
