You can reuse the factory rod bolts without any worry. GM service manual says so.

 

Yea they aren't torque to yield like the head bolts. You can reuse them no prob.

i ran a 03 cobra in my truck once kid kept thinking he was the **** till i blew his doors off in my pickumup truck he had no clue he was running a low 12 second truck

IMO get another boneyard 6.0 throw it in and let it eat and build a 370 outta the one you melted the pistons in

 

Well the pistons are one order already. Junk yard dogs with custom pin hieght. Should bet me 9.8:1 when all said and done.

Good to know on the rod bolts. Saves me some money. Later on I'll get some rods and balance the crank and do main studs.

 

My buddy that did the bad video, said there was a lot WTFs going on for sure when I took off. Lmao. It was pretty damn violent from the driver seat. I wasn't sure if the mustang was racing for a second there.
