I love the dude in the Mustang thinking he's a pro stock driver with that burnout. I wish your engine would have held out to embarrass him in front of his friends.

 

His car sounded pretty good in the lanes. I don't normally say that about mustangs lmao. I couldn't believe the jump I got on him even though we both took off same time and I was all over the damn place. I forgot to take my damn abs fuse out so the brakes were engaging making things even worse.

Sorry to hear bout your problem , that hoe looked stout !, throw some pistons back in her and let her eat . Did you happen to inspect the 2 faulty injectors or send them for testing ? Just curious if they failed mechanically or possible debris clogging them .

 

Oh I was puckered up for sure. I was fighting like hell too.

I'm just going to get new ones. I at 100% duty cycle through first gear. Plus I wanted new ones anyway. I have had some nice ones I've been eyeing for a while now.

 

Pistons are on order! Quick question, Are the stock rod bolts reuseable? I've never thought about it before but they have to come out to put on the new pistons.

Well damn. And you have to resize if you use arp's? I never did on my ls1 in my silverado but I've read stories of people spinning rod bearings after puting them in.
