Anyone using a different wastegate on their on3 kit?

 

I think everyone swaps that out, seems like one of the weak links in those kits.

 

That's what I've been reading too, not sure which one to go with was thinking the Godspeed 44mm.

 

Godspeed is honestly prolly of equal quality, I think when people upgrade they spend the big bucks on brands like Tial, Turbosmart, HKS.

Get a Precision or a Tial. Pretty sure they both use the same flange as the On3's. WG is the most important part of boost control on a turbo kit and the best place to spend your money.

 

I have to agree, I am NOT taking a chance on some cheap *** wastegate taking out my engine. I can understand guys using cheap turbos, that not have a decent rep, but not on a gate that can grenade your engine if it hangs. If your engine and time isn't worth $250, IMO, you shouldn't be running boost.

 

tial fit the on3 flange work great for me

 

We stock the precision gates.
They come with 5 different springs in the box.
Not sure how many the others send.
