ON3 Kit is here! 6.0 RCSB 4x4 Silverado build
#1
Everything is finally coming along. On3 kit is here and planning on taking advantage of this long weekend to install it.
Little history on the truck it's a 2000 Silverado originally a 5.3 z71, swapped out front ends to a 2006 and had it painted completely in and out Tuxedo Black with Metallics(Ford Color (._. ) ) and dropped in an Lq4. Lowered it 5.5/8, 22x8.5/22x10 Billet Specialties wheels and a few other cosmetic mods.
During a cam swap the lq4 had a hurt cam bearing so I pulled it out for a rebuild and used LS2 pistons and rods.. So pretty much an Lq9 now
After 4000 miles or so I had a Pac 1218 spring fail on me (228r cam) while idling but luckily there was no major damage done. At that point I got me some LS3/L92 SDPC CNC'd heads w/ Manley valves and .675" double springs hand port finished milled to 66cc, TickPerformance Stage 1 LS3 cam, and L92 intake.

That same week I swapped in a freshened up 4l80e w/ shift kit and pump mod, Circle D 4000 Multidisk, High speed 1 piece DS, and rebuilt the rear end w/ a Trutrac unit and 4.10's

Other than that the original plan was to go nitrous, bought everything for a nitrous set-up and all the goodies for it but ON3's kit was just too tempting so I had to go with it.
The welds on the Hotside are great! The cold side not the best but still decent since theres only 2 welds total. Everything feels great and good quality.
I'm still waiting on these parts to arrive:
-Yank ProTruck 3200 Multi-disk
-FIC 1000cc injectors
-2 AEM 320lph pumps
-Need to order a Map Sensor
Plans of now is to run it on E85 starting off at 7psi and slowly ramping it up to 10-12psi on their new 78/75 turbo.
Still need to Fix:
-Figure out how to get the NP263HDx transfer case working
-Front Driveshaft
-Most importantly fix the A/C. For some reason it quit working again.

#6
Weather hasn't cleared up and no progress has been done yet. Only hick-up I see during this installation is the oil drain line. It's going to be a PITA to drop the oil pan since I have to lower the front diff. I can't find any 3/8NPT drill bit's nor Taps in any hardware store

I used step drill bit and an NPT tap set I bought from Harbor Freight a few years ago. I was able to remove the middle section of the front differential and squeeze the pan by...not as easy as everything out of the way but I thought it was less time.
