Default old school procharger

A guy wants me to install a procharger on his truck for him. The head unit is the old school one I guess. The oil lines feed like a turbo setup. Its not self contained. Would I Just tap the oil pan for the return like normal. Or could I use the block for the oil cooler for inlet/return? I have a spare oil cooler block not being used.

I just driled the pan on mine (cast aluminum). I used a vacuum hose next to the drill bit to suck up particles. It worked great, however when I finally pulled the pan there were lots of metal shards stuck in the pickup screen. I would do it again however since it did not seem to cause any oiling problems. Just make sure you change the oil afterwards, and know that there will be metal shaving stuck in he pickup screen.

Pack the drill flutes with bearing grease to hold the shavings. It worked well when I tapped the pan on my ls car for a vortech install.

I also used grease on the bit and tap and it helped big time.
