Default oil restrictor

How do I know if I need to restrict the flow of oil to my supercharger?

I would think it would like as much flow as it could take as long as it didn't puke past the seals. But i've never owned a centri charger.

I haven't heard of restricting flow to supercharges, only turbos, because the way there seals are designed, they can't handle much pressure.

Generalley S/C are sealed units, Once a year or two change it out thats about it and that would depend on how fast your spinning it and for how many miles/hours of use it see's.

Most oil-fed centrifugals like the NOVIs and Vortechs have a pre-sized restrictor orifice from the manufacturer. I'd get whatever they sell/recommend.

Both my S-trim and Procharger used restrictors that doubled as spray nozzles.

Thanks!! She's down right now getting an upgraded fuel system and some tuning aids... I'm really hoping it'll be a 10 second tow rig in 2007!
