oil pan feed/drain

Default oil pan feed/drain

i have a 2004 gmc sierra 4x4 with the 5.3 im getting ready to try and attempt to do the lines for the turbo but ive never do it, im not 100% sure on what needs taken apart to get it done. any help, or ideas that would make it flow easier would be great!

I was in your same shoes a month or 2 ago. Just search oil drain or oil feed and you'll find tons of info on it

i been looking havent came apon much for the 4x4 didnt know if it was different ill keep looking tho

contact rick from trick performance he has a awesome adapter for the turbo feed that i bought from him and was easy to install no drilling required for the feed . he also sells a drill and tap kit for your turbo drain line but you going to have to drill you pan obviously lol.

just drill the pan right above the oil level sensor for the return... for the pressure side there's an adapter you can put it place of the oil cooler block off plate up above the oil filter... done

ya i got the kit and the tap ect im just not sure what i gotta do to get the pan off. being 4x4 it seems like a PIA!

ok, i got the oil drain line installed. and i want to install the feed " 3An" line and when i took the piece off the side of the pan " right by the oil filter" there are 2 holes anyone know what size they are? ill tap one then plug the other?

NO don't tap the area under the cover.
That's how the oil gets to the engine.

If your truck is NON OIL cooled.
Tap the block you took off reinstall.

If your truck is OIL COOLED.
We offer a block that sandwiches in there.
Or
Tap the block you took off reinstall.

Won't matter which hole both are psi.

Post a pic of that area.
