Default oil leak problem

I have a 01 silverado 4x4 5.3 I put on a on3 turbo kit max boost is 10 psi haven't got it returned yet for the turbo . Was driving it to the tuners house to get it returned and under load about 5psi I had a oil leak took back to the house lifted it up and it look like the oil pan so I change to a new oil pan and gasket . Drove around block and still same thing . Took a look at the rear main seal and was still good. There is oil on every bolt of the oil pan .my tuner told me to vent the valve cover to the atmosphere going to try that next and replace the gasket . Has anyone had this problem before? I dnt see how that is the reason why it's coming out of the oil pan . Any advance would help.

I had a similar issue. I ended up venting the valve covers to the atmosphere and it stopped any pressure build up.

What I would recommend is to take it to the car wash and clean all oil off. Then jackstand cruise the truck and see if you can tell where the oil is coming from.

Make sure the truck is stable on the jack stands....

Is the return line plummed to the pan?
Is turbo feed line tight?

It's usually something simple man...

I think I am having a similar problem. I just haven't had time to fix it lately. I believe my leak is coming from the cam sensor. There is an O-ring seal that can leak and send oil down the back of the engine. When you are creating crankcase pressure, it can leak anywhere.

You have the PCV setup stock? Cause if you do youre pressurizing the crank case, which would blow out a seal more than likely

Cap the port on the manifold that the PCV goes to, then vent both valve covers with a little filter is the simplest. Also cap the port on the throttle body that goes to the valve cover if you havent already
