-3an here too with my Turbonetrics 7668. I feel like 3an is fine for T4 turbo's, especially the smaller ones like Turbonetics and Magnum. Maybe a BW T4 would be better with 4an?

ok cool, ill just give it a shot and see what happens. im going to try and do that and just tap the pan for the drain line. how many quarts should i use to make sure the pans flushed out all the way? ill also use a pen magnate to help pull any shavings out

A magnetic pen ain't going to help considering you probably have a aluminum pan. Just tap it below the crank pulley just make sure you got room for it where you tap it.

I tapped mine right above the oil level sensor about as high as I could get it. I dropped the pan to do it, it's not too much extra work on a 2WD.
