Default Oil in exhasust

Tried looking it up but can anyone tell me what to trouble shoot if i have oil in my exhaust? its in the tail pipe and the crossover pipe before the turbo...

Check out your oil return pump.

huh...thats not good if oil is coming from your motor before the turbo....

you may need a restrictor in your feed line.

I had the same prob and it meant I had blow-by...in my case it was not roperly broken in, was running too rich and washed the rings...only a ring job if ur lucky...do a leak down test and ull know for sure...u see any oil leaks anywhere? Sometimes u end up with oil coming from the breather. I hope its not the case!

K i tried searching but couldnt find any pictures... anyone have any pics of a oil separator/ catch can setup for a 2006 5.3?

Catch cans are as much for vapour as actual fluid...but if u have oil in ur exhaust its more than a PCV issue. Are u just seeing smoke & fumes, or is there actual droplets? When I had my prob, I noticed it because a bike rack I was using actually got coated with oil. As for catch cans, try Mike Norris, RevXtreme (I just bot one of these), Elite Engineering...etc. R/

i dont have any oil leaks anywhere else just a milky oil coming out of the exhaust
