got the walbro in and hopefully he makes it home. Only could do prolly 12 deg of timing up top before getting knock.....at 17 degree it was audible....I am guessing the stock pcv has taken its toll by oiling down the entire intack tract...but a good start...at least its pulling better. We get a WB on it and then we can get somewhere

made it home o.k.
thanks again Jerry...for the help and the pizza...
the new vc breather should be in tomorrow...I'll probably put it on and plug or cap off the pcv line...maybe run the SeaFoam thru it first...

Jerry brings up a good point about oil in the intake tract. My old truck would pull timing from knock retard. I finally got some top end cleaner and after using that no more knock. It's worth a shot.

The Walbro Made a Huge Difference for my truck. Even the plot of AFR is much smoother. It is good insurance to get this done early if you running high HP.

removing pcv today and replacing with Moroso breather to eventually tie into y-pipe...I will SeaFoam the intake first though...hope the puking oil is the culprit responsible for the KR...

Moroso breather won't fit due to the coil bracket...
going to attempt to raise it past the bracket using a heater hose fitting and a piece of hose as a coupler...
that way, I will still benefit from the breather allowing puked oil to drain back into the valve cover...
