What are yalls thoughts or opinions?

Thinking about doing a 75-100 shot in the future but not sure if it is worth it. Also should i spray before or after the blower? I know there was already a thread about this a long while back. Didnt want to dig it up so i started a new one.

old hat man. I ran a 75 shot on top of 12lbs on a stock bottom end 5.3L...not that I'd recommend that

 

Sorry man lol Just didnt want a bunch of old farts yapping at me for uncovering a 2 yr old thread... How much did the 75 shot raise your boost if it did at all? If i remember correctly don't you run a meth kit o top of all that?

 

ill be running meth and nitrous on my tvs1900. prob just a 35-50 shot. the dude that will be tuning did a tbss with a tvs2300 on meth and 35 shot and it picked up 60hp and 100ftlb on nitrous

 

The truck has sold but yeah, it does increase manifold pressure a little. The big kick is the torque increase, can you say fronts lifting? Meth, of course.

 

Once I feel that I've maxed out my 5.3 with boost only, I'll probably add nitrous. I've been dreaming about that for about 2 years now.

I need somebody to lend me their kit for a test... lol

 

Just popped a 5.3l with 4 nozzle tapped into the lower intake of meth and 75hp nitrous with a radix... couldn't get the iat down below 170 at the top of my run. Maybe you'll have better luck with a wipple ata intercooler?

 

My IATs are high to. They keeps setting codes. Sometimes it wont idle right because of it. How much of a degree drop will the IATs be with meth added?


Thats were i feel im at. I am only running 6lbs of boost on a 2.8 pulley. I guess i get to see how much my pistons can handle with nitrous. lol
