Default New Turbo 5.3 shortbed build

This is my first time messing with LS stuff
I bought a 2001 gmc single cab shortbed with a 5.3 For the truck. Has 187k on it but not it bad shape.
So far the parts I have collected are:
PAC 1218 springs
80lb deka injectors
Walbro 400
Trans go hd2
Tick manifold waste gate intercooler IC pipes down pipe ect

Things I'm still looking for/debating
Turbo cam
Convertor
4l80e
Yoke
S475
Some kind of fan set up ls1 fans or 05+
Some sort of rear posi or locker.

What do you guys think? Am I on the right track to sweet street truck?

Sounds good so far.

A easy cam to go with is a Isky triple 12, proven to make good power with turbo. A tru-trac rear end should be right up your alley, just pick your gear ratio or stick with whatever it has. Of course the small stuff like a wideband and what not but I'm sure you got that covered.

Should be fun!

Hardened pushrods, hot wire kit for the fuel pump, map sensor, transcooler...like FFDP said, the little stuff, although it certainly adds up!

Yeah I thought I would have a big variety of cams to choose from but it seems that the springs I bought are only good for a .600 lift cam and maybe turbo cams spech out at a little over.
But the isky I have heard is a solid bet.
I was going to try and save money on the rear and do a mini spool or locker but I think that would get old for a DD. I will probably go with 4.11 gears.
Going to do a AEM wideband. Boost gauge and intake temp gauge. That should cover it no?
And I think finding a guy to tune is going to be a tough one too. Do guys email tunes to you or do most want to live tune these things

A bunch of people "over cam" these motors.... No need for a big cam, especially on that 5.3. The triple 12, tsp 220, and many more would get the job done, and not be hell on your valve train!

I'm thinking the triple 12 will be a solid cam everyone seems to say they make good power. I'm not concerned on the size so long as it makes good power and spools well.
I'm looking for a used one but if none come up ill have to order a new one

I would do a fuel pressure gauge instead of IAT.
