New project. 2003 rcsb turbo.

Once I found the correct slip yoke I didn't have to shorten my drive shaft either. Wasn't too hard of a swap. Glad I did it even though it blew my budget for the turbo. I'm sure I'm not the only one that a 4l80 swap turned into a 6.0 swap also.

change the unit
paint the hot side with heat resisting paint
change any clamp or v-band in the hot side
blow off valve and wastegate tial are awesome and cured my problem with on3 kit
cold side i didn't have any problem with it works great
injectures am running deatchwork 80 ls1 style with holly hi-ram
pumps i ordered them through a garage who did all the work
tranny if it's 4.8 it will take some beating but eventually will die so upgrade is a most
good luck

OP... looks like you got it finished! Even managed to keep the coolant tank in the factory location. When test fitting mine, I couldn't see the oem tank fitting.
Did you go SD or hide a MAF somewhere? Any problems with the dump tube on the gate heating up the AC compressor? Seems my tube heads right for the compressor?

I was going to stay maf and try to use my k and n air box/maf set up but I put my overflow there lol. And I had to switch to SD anyways because my charge piping had the bung for the iat sensor so I ordered one from ballenger and used a 2bar map. I saw the issue the dump tube I haven't done anything with it yet because the truck isn't even running yet waiting for my tune. I'm a stainless steel tig welder so extending the pipe a Lil further won't be a challenge for me. But if it's heating Urs up looks like I'll have to do it. Not my daily so idk how much of a issue it's going to be for me. Thanks for the heads up
