When it stalls do all the dash lights stay on as if the key is in the on position or does everything go out all together? If all the lights go out it could be possible ignition switch intermittent connection but normally I have seen that happen when hitting a bump or doing something to jostle the key......

Have you checked the ignition switch in the steering column? Mine crapped out on me and that $14 part cost me $900 in transmission repairs. That sucker regulates the voltage going to a lot of stuff and the problems your having with your gauges is a tell tale sign of one going **** up. Its not the key tumbler but the switch on the opposite side.
