Once Whipple brings the Gen 5 rotors over to the GM side there will be something interesting.

what all did you need to do for the hotrod kit other than heads? Did you need to swap accessories?

I'm on a truck accessories setup. I have a modified tvs 1900 tensioner bracket with the top cut off. I'm running an IW 8 rib kit, with an ATI 6% OD balancer. It sounds like a lot but it's not, it's super simple. Hubert (sleepergmc) has the same setup.

I just want to clarify that the hot rod kit is a bolt on with only square port heads needed. Im running a hd tensioner and a IW 8 rib setup. How did you run the air intake?

intake isn't on yet but will be similar to how I had it on my 2300 in the attached photo. the inlet on the 2650 is angled just a little different so might have to rotate it, or cut a piece off the current intake & angle it up to accommodate for the difference.

Interesting topic. I'm going to keep pushing the 1900 for awhile, but a 2650 or larger would be nice to upgrade when I pull the heads off for porting...

Can't use the power until I get real rear tires anyways

The larger blowers are nice because you get a good bump in power while still maintaining an excellent level of efficiency.
