The 2.8 or 3.3 would be sick. I just installed the KB 2.8 onto my truck. I had to make my own inlets and outlets in a custom off manifold set up. You should get some test data to make you decision.

She is sooooooooo beautiful - 10lbs boost at part throttle. 25 degrees lower IAT'S and smooth as a baby's bottom. Unfortunately I blew the Eprom on the Flashscan cable and cannot tune PCM for a couple weeks. There are advantages to an off manifold setup with an IC. The IAT's are much lower. You will have to do a considerable amount of custom work by yourself if you go this route.
