Default New!!!! Garrett Turbo Boost Adviser App

For those not in the know Garrett turbo just completely redesigned their website, also they just developed a new FREE application for the I-Phone and Android phones called Boost Adviser also there is a web version.

Its an Application that takes user inputs of:

Desired Horsepower
Size of Engine (Liter or Cubic Inches)
Twin Turbo or Single
Number of valves per cylinder
Fuel Type Used (Pump gas, Diesel, E85, Race Fuel, etc.
Intercooler Setup (Air/Air, Air/Water, or None
and Zip code for Air temp and Barometric pressure

with this its gives you values of:

estimated Hp
required Boost
Pressure ratio
Expected Intake manifold Temp
Corrected Air flow (lb/min)

and then tells you what Turbos Garrett offers to satisfy those values

Yea its siiiiick if you notice at the end if you click on a turbo it gives you the compressor map and on the map there are two red dots that signify mid range and redline rpms on the efficiency Islands telling you at what percentage the turbo is efficient at those levels

Cool program. Going to have to try the iPhone version for bench-racing while at work...
