Who me?

I'm in favor of a blower on the small side because of the increased low end by having to spin it up more. The down side is you don't have much more room to grow if the power craze hits you. I'm also a fan of the TVS because from what video's I've seen it's quieter than the mp112/122. I like the tq curve of the TVS1900 much better than the mp122 on that graph. Based on that I would take the TVS 1900 over the mp122. But I do agree With Blownchevy that a stock motor won't live a happy and long life running at 10psi. It would be perfect to see a dyno graph of a mp112, mp122 and TVS1900 all shooting for 7-8psi on a 6.0/6.2 motor. Also on the graph I'd like to see the dyno start at say 1500 because isn't the point of theses positive displacement blowers to make off idle tq? The graphs above show it starting around 2500rpm and I'm curious how close the TVS is to the mp122 at 1500-2000rpm. Unless the results change very much from the above graph for lower boost, I'd still say TVS1900 would be my choice.

I really want to learn more about the 2300 when the specs and info is available.

I agree with you 110% thanks for elaborating.... I guess power below 2,500rpm is a moot point given the avg stock stall conv speed right?

I guess so, but I'm usually between 1500-2500 when I start getting aggressive so that was why I say as low as 1500. Prob 2500 is low enough because you won't stay low long when you prod it with your right foot

ROUSH is now using this blower get this

KENNE BELL 2.8 at 8.5 psi boost made 606 hp on a gt500, now they used the TVS blower and at 7 psi booost made 605 HP.

TVS at 7 psi boost put as much as the kenne bell 2.8 at 8.5 psi boost. I think kenne bell has some competition now.

Yeah well, looks like Charris might want to rethink his blower choice

Forgive me, but doesn't XX psi on a certain displacement motor yield a certain HP, regardless of the source of boost? Or am I missing something here?

For example, for a forged 6.0L, for example, wouldn't 5 psi worth of Kenne Bell and 5 psi worth of turbo and 5 psi worth of centrifugal yield exactly the same HP?

Please link to the test.

psi is a measure of resistance and different air pumps supply that air flow with differences like increase of IAT and the power robbed from the motor to pump that air. I think that post is implying that the TVS moves the required amount of air much more efficiently(less power lost in compressing the air) and cooler

That was my attempt of explaining it... how far off aim i?

Sounds pretty close to me! That's what I would presume.

If you know you will be power crazy and have a built motor wouldn't you just say TVS 2300 ahead of time? Test was on a TVS 1900.....
