Default New Dyno #'s with the Magna-volt installed

I've been having some fueling problems when I pushed Radix'd truck to
11psi to 12psi, the injectors where maxing out at over 100% and my AFR's where leaning out in the upper RPM's.

After the Magna-volt install my AFR's where much better, I basically have the AFR's tuned to 11.8 to 12.2 using the PE table.

Anyway I ran it on the Dyno today and it made 388 rwhp & 424 rwtq and the
AFR's stayed at 12.2 all the way up to the rev limiter 6400rpm.

Thats 12 rwhp & 21 rwtq more than before.
I'll post the Dyno graph when I get it scanned.

Glad that worked out for ya! 12.2-12.3 is the "happy" place for the Mangacharger!

I thought 12.x was the "Scary Place" for FI? I have always heard 11.4 to 11.7? What gives? Is it dependent on your boost level?

I have been running 12.2 for 30K....if you can tune it right, that is where MAX power is.
11.4-11.7 is definately safer.

Hmmm....So where do you start pushing your luck? I was at 12.5-12.7 at 5800 rpm (stock shift point, I've never raised it). That's when I blew the 5.3 cylinder. is there a BIG difference between 12.2 and 12.5/7? I guess I'm a little lost because the scale is so small. Break it down kindergarten style

I did the Radix kit on my 02 and it came with a booster fuel pump in the kit. Would I benefit from installing the Magna Volt?

I'm not sure,
Mine is a 2005 with the returnless fuel system where the Fuel Pressure Regulator is in the Fuel tank and is not VAC/BOOST referenced.

Yours I believe has a FPR on the Fuel rail and sees BOOST which increases
The fuel pressure as boost increases, the 2004 & 2005 don't.

You need to data log with a Wide Band O2 to see if you’re having a Fueling
Problem.
