I had to tweak the brake lines a little to get it to fit but nothing too major. Just did it by hand. Also had to bend the mounting bracket on the black canister hanging on the brake booster to move it out of the way.

I'm sure at the top end there is some benefit in 3" over 2.5" but any benefit on spool up time?

Turbos came in. Had to grind a little on the Vband clamp to fit the housings no bigger. Desided to use 2.5"DP seeing how I have so much of that here already.

wow dont know how i missed this one.

im impressed on the head bolts , i thought i was a little overkill with the 1/2's but i also used the extra 2 bolts per cylinder. im curious as to how much room you had left on the block going that big on studs.

Looks like you already went with te 2.5" but I wanted to correct my earlier posting. I went out and looked under my hood this afternoon and realized that I actually had to move the bracket that supported the brake lines to the right to make room for the 3" DP.

Yea had a ton of that laying around figured it is a budget build. not need to spend more then needed right now. what does that little canaster thing do you the brakes. Is to help vaccum with road racing??? Not much room in that bad boy. LOL Goes to show how close you can get a pipe to something and it not melt.

The little canister is OEM but I'm not sure what it does so I didn't want to remove it.

It's all a little tight but everything stays cool enough. The turbine housings are hot as hell but the DP's cool down pretty fast. Everything (manifolds/turbine exh housing/DP's) has been ceramic coated so the heat isn't too bad and the coating helps maintain exhaust velocity/energy. I've got a pair of DEI titanium turbo beanies and their 2" exhaust wrap. I'm going to install them when I get the forged 6.0l shortblock finished. Can't wait to finally turn up the boost.
