New Air/Water IC for trucks (THE Chiller)
Hey guys here are some prelim pics of an air/water intercooler kit we have been working on. The system is designed with huge heat changer and oversize water reservoir. The complete system will sell around 1500.00
The heat exchanger in the pics is a mock up unit. We are in the process of getting a custom unit qouted and built for Trick.
Kits should be shipping close to Christmas time.
You get
Intercooler
brackets
heat exchanger
water reservoir
water pump
hose fittings
Tubing, and one silicone coupler.
For a complete installation with either the Intro or Street Stalker kits..

There are several brackets right now holding that unit up.LOL There are ones going to valve cover studs, the one in the front you see is to the main alten. bracket, and you can see the rear top one to the intake.
WE are working on usings tubing, with 3 mounting points.
Once done, one should be able to install this complete system in under 2 hours, easliy. Right now took me 30min. to reinstall when I removed it and reinstalled it.
Also if someone wanted to mount the core else where on their own, there are tabs welded to the core for great mouning flexability.

Why does it seem that most big Hp cars are running A2W units Vs the A2A? I guess the cooling effect would have greater potential with a "chiller box" and ice rather than depending on ambient air to cool it, moving or not... I know air temps a few inches off the track can get really damn hot and probably would make the gains of an A2A setup null and void. Did I answer my own question?? I need some sleep LMAO.
